To define this scheme, the definition of family is husband, wife and minor children. To give the benefit of this scheme, the administration of the state and union territory will identify those farmer families who are eligible as per the guidelines of this scheme. The funds received by the eligible farmers of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme are directly transferred to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries through DBT (Direct Bank Transfer). Farmers can check their PM Kisan Status by visiting the official website of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, pmkisan.gov.in.
